What you can expect :
As a Junior Software Engineer at Sonoscanner, you will be part of the R&D responsible for designing systems with company-wide impact, pushing further technical boundaries. You will be integrating within a world-class team of engineers where innovation, ownership and progression are paramount.
In a team of 2-5, you will be working closely with your peers to drive your projects, design and ensure best practices are applied. You can ask questions and participate in all knowledge sharing sessions/workshops, etc. You are encouraged to actively voice your ideas whilst learning how to build and ship quality code into production which will likely affect thousands of users worldwide. You will gain a better understanding of the development cycle and work on projects with a real impact. Your main task will be:
- Improvement/Robustification/Architecture Design of the onboard software
- Development of test protocols and analysis of system results
- Thinking/Implementing potential new features (ML, CPU Vision, …) or Software refactoring.
- Function and technical specifications writing
- As our system is a medical device: traceability of code, design decisions, and all other required quality of the development of a medical system are essential

Technical Stack: Windows/Linux, C/C++ (Boost, STD, OpenCV, …), C#, Visual Studio, MFC, Qt, …
A knowledge of basic medical device development (MDD) would be a plus.
